Nano brows is a type of permanent makeup that uses a digital machine to implant pigment into the upper dermis layer of your skin. This creates a very fine, natural-looking eyebrow shape that resembles real eyebrow hairs and won't smudge or fade over time. Nano brows can help to create fuller, thicker brows that look completely natural. This approach ensures that each client's brows are tailored to their unique features, resulting in stunning, natural-looking results that can last for years.
This is a beautiful look for all skin types (including oily/aging skin), and heals very soft and beautiful. The results can last several years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age, and how often you get touch-ups.

Combination brows are a blend of microblading and powder shading. Hair-strokes are created at the front of the brows manually and shading is done using a machine. ESB Combo Brows are custom to each client. Some may need spot shading while others require more density through the body of the brow.
If you have naturally sparse brow hair or uneven brow growth, a combination brow is perfect for you! Soft shading blends out any unevenness in the growth and can give a more 3D result. It is also idea for those looking for a more defined or filled in brow. We can add as much or as little shading to give a variety of different looks.
This is a beautiful look for all skin types (including oily/aging skin), and heals very soft and beautiful. The results can last several years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age, and how often you get touch-ups.
If you are unsure of what service to book, a combination brow is the safest choice!

Microblading is the process of implanting color pigment beneath the surface of the skin using a blade consisting of tiny, sterile, disposable needles to produce the appearance of hair strokes, makeup, or to enhance the natural features of the face.
Microblading is meant to be a natural enhancement, and to create the appearance of full, beautiful brows. It looks most natural on clients who have full brow hair, and are wanting to perfect their shape and add natural fullness. The more fine hair you have, the more natural it will appear. This is not an ideal service for those with little natural hair, hair that is patchy, or coarse hair.
Microblading heals best on young, normal/dry skin. Those with combination/oily or aging skin are not candidates for microblading, and are better suited for a combination or powder brows.
Many clients think that microblading is the only way to achieve “natural” results. However, unless a client is an ideal candidate, microblading can look more unnatural that something like a combo or powder brow. If you do not fit the above description of an ideal microblading candidate, book a combo or powder brow!
It is also important to note that microblading, over time, is very likely to blur together. While initially the strokes may look crisp and thin, if you have oily skin, aging skin, are in the sun frequently, or other reasons, the strokes will blur together. Microblading can typically be done by itself 4-5 times before a client switched to a powder brow to avoid scar tissue build up.

Permanent makeup/cosmetic tattoo is not permitted for anyone under the age of 18.
If you are pregnant/breastfeeding, as a precaution we will not perform the service as there is a risk of infection.
If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
If you have extremely oily skin, the hair stroke eyebrow technique may not work very well for you. The constant production of oil will cause the hair strokes to heal with a diffused, softer look. Your end result will look more powdered than you would expect. We recommend ESB Powder/Ombre or Combo Brows for extremely oily skin.
If you have little to no existing hair or coarse hair, your tattoo will appear more 2-dimensional than those clients who have more hair, or naturally finer hair. We recommend ESB Powder/Ombre or Combo Brows.
If you are a frequent smoker, your pigment may fade sooner.
If you are iron deficient or anemic, your pigment may fade sooner and bleeding/bruising may occur during and after the procedure.
If you are currently going through chemotherapy, please wait at least 4 months post chemo/radiation because like with any tattoo, there is a risk of infection.
If you have rosacea we do not recommend microblading. Powder brows can be considered.
If you are over the age of 60 a skin evaluation is recommended to determine which brow treatment will be right for you.
If you have received covid-19 vaccine you will need to wait 2 weeks before/after vaccine.
If you have uncontrollable diabetes, we do not recommend this procedure.
Any of the following skin diseases/condition will need to be evaluated first if they are near the brow area - Keratosis, Eczema, Psoriasis, Alopecia, Keloid Scars, Seborrhea Dermatitis
Scar(s) on the brow (will need to be evaluated first)
If you have a pacemaker, any machine use will not be allowed.
allergy to latex/metals
PLEASE NOTE: If you have had your eyebrows previously tattooed, we will need to do a consultation before booking. We cannot guarantee results for cases such as these. In some instances where the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before our services will be considered. Previously tattooed areas will almost always require additional sessions and will be charged accordingly. Some special cases may be considered. Please contact us with any further questions.

Preparing for your appointment is just as important for good healed results as post care. Failure to follow pre-care may result in you being sent home the day of your appointment, so please read the following carefully! You coming prepared to you appointment means better healed results and a better overall experience. Please follow pre-care instructions here

Immediately after getting your brows done, you may experience minor redness or swelling around the treated area, which typically goes away within 24 hours. Over the next few hours, the pigment in the skin will oxidize, making the brows look darker and warmer (red) than they were initially. This is normal and expected. Pigment typically fades anywhere from 20-40% once fully healed.
Around day 3-4, you may notice light scabbing and flaking on the treated area. This is normal! Please refrain from picking at the brows. Doing so will result in loss of pigment in those areas and can cause scarring. Brows may appear spotty or patchy until the entire brow has finished healing. Once all the flaking is complete (usually around day 10), the brows will appear much lighter. The pigment will darken over the next 4-6 weeks and the pigment will return to the skin in its healed color.
At 4-6 weeks, your brows will be fully healed. Whatever pigment that does not return will be addressed at your touch up appointment. At this appointment, we will assess your retention, touch up the spots that didn’t stick, and can adjust the pigment color to give you perfect brows! Once the brows have healed from your touch up appointment, you will have beautiful, full brows for 12-36 months!

Your initial session can take up to 1.5 to 3 hours depending on how much work needs to be done. The duration consists of consultation, numbing, mapping/pre-drawing, color selection, and the procedure.
-
A highly-effective, topical anesthetic cream is used for numbing before your procedure. Pain threshold levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable during the procedure. on average, clients claim it is a 2-4 on the pain scale out of 10. Having this service performed during your menstrual cycle may increase discomfort during your procedure. If you are a frequent smoker, the topical anesthetics used during the procedure will not last as long. If you have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, be aware that this may affect your sensitivity tolerance to the procedure.
-
Anyone who has had their brows done previously by another artist MUST schedule a consultation and be approved before booking an appointment.
Please email current photos of your brows, along with your goal photo to info@earthsignbeauty.com before booking to make sure I am comfortable working over the existing work.
I typically only go over other artists work if it’s at least 85-90% faded, and all new clients to me are considered an initial session.
I want to give my clients the very best, and help create their dream brows. If I don’t think we can achieve what you’re wanting with your existing work, I will give recommendations on how to help the ink fade more quickly or recommend a removal artist.

Oily Skin: Increased oil production can cause hair strokes to blur and fade very quickly, or not stick at all. If you have combination or oily skin, you are a candidate for a combination or powder brows, but not for microblading.
Sun Exposure: Increased exposure to the sun will cause premature fading. I recommend all my clients purchase Cannasmack Ink Guard on Amazon to protect their healed brows from the sun.
Excessive Bleeding: Excessive bleeding during your procedure will greatly affect how your body retains pigment. Pinpoint bleeding throughout the procedure is normal, but excessive bleeding causes pigment to fade very quickly and heal ashy. While bleeding is not entirely in our control, it is important that you follow pre-care instructions to help minimize bleeding. This includes avoiding blood thinning medications and alcohol 48 hours before your procedure.
Improper Pre and Post Care: Not following the given pre and post care instructions will greatly diminish your healed results. Follow all instructions exactly for the best results! I can only control what happens inside my studio, so please come prepared beforehand and follow all instructions exactly afterwards for the best results.

The initial session is always applied conservatively because everyone's skin is different, and the final color can only be precisely determined and adjusted during a touch-up appointment after the initial procedure is fully healed.
Because of this, the process is not complete after the initial procedure. For best results, all permanent cosmetic procedures require two sessions. This is a very important part to help keep your pigment retention and increase the longevity of your brows. During your 6-8 weeks perfecting session we will assess your pigment retention and make any adjustments needed. After this we will see you on a yearly touch-up basis.
-
Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered permanent and will not wash off, however, they are designed to fade over time and may need to be refreshed. Most clients are able to go 1-2 years between annual touch-ups.
The longevity of your brows will depend on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you take care of them. Frequency of sessions depends on a number of factors including: the pigment used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sweat, sun exposure, tanning beds can affect the rate at which these pigments are broken down), age, metabolism, medications, and if any chemical peels come into contact with treated areas. Picking the proper service for your skin type and following the given aftercare instructions will lead to beautiful results for years to come!
Multiple sessions are normal and expected for permanent cosmetics, with each new procedure requiring a minimum of 2 visits. Your second session can be booked no sooner than 6 weeks after the initial appointment. Additional sessions will be charged according to our current pricing.
Please note that final results CANNOT be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your second session and perfect your permanent makeup!

While permanent makeup is amazing for defining the brow and enhancing a client’s features, it’s important to have realistic expectations about what it can and cannot do. Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo, meaning it is going in your skin. Makeup sits on top of your skin. Therefore, some things you can achieve with makeup will not look the same or give the same effect as a PMU tattoo. Because the tattoo we are creating is relatively permanent and is going in your skin, it’s very important where we place and shape the brows. Going too far away from where the hair naturally grows will look unnatural and won’t blend with the natural hair that you have.
Because the ink is being implanted under the skin, it’s also important to note that the healed results will always differ from fresh ones as the skin heals over it. Permanent makeup is not magic, and it’s important that we stay close to what your brows are naturally doing to maintain beautiful results. We strive for natural results that will look amazing for years to come!
-
Before booking an annual refresher, it’s important to let your brows fade at least 40-50%. Letting the previous ink fade allows us to keep that ink fresh in the skin! If the ink in your skin from previous appointments isn’t faded enough, adding more ink can cause the entire brow to look blotchy and uneven. Let them fade! If you’re ever unsure if you are ready for an annual refresher or not, email us photos and we will let you know!

Henna Brows are quickly becoming one of the hottest trends in eyebrow tinting but what exactly are henna brows and what’s so great about getting them done or offering a henna brow service to your clients?
Henna brows are a natural alternative to traditional eyebrow coloring. Traditional eyebrow tints are primarily made of chemicals while most henna brow products are made of natural plant-based ingredients including Lewsonia Insermis aka – henna, a flowering plant that grows naturally in North Africa and India. Commonly used to dye skin, hair and fingernails. *The henna plant dates back to around 3500 BC.
With our henna brow product you are getting a product that is made with 75% plant-based ingredients, contains no lead or ammonia, is vegan-friendly, and requires no chemicals or oxidants to activate, only our mixing solution or warm water.
Plus, unlike traditional chemical-based tints that dry out or damage eyebrows, henna brows coats the hair locking in moisture keeping hair healthy and hydrated which often encourages hair growth!
One of the other key benefits of henna brows compared to a traditional eyebrow tint is the fact henna brows not only dye the eyebrow but it is also a brow filler. The henna stains the skin beneath the brows for up to a week with the tint lasting on the eyebrow hair for up to 6 weeks.

Eyebrow henna is a perfect product to make eyebrows fuller or darker. And you can make thin brows slightly look fuller. Because not only the hairs get darker, but the skin is also colored and the eyebrow therefore looks much denser. It is often thought that you can create an entirely new shape with eyebrow henna, but that is a misconception. Brow henna doesn't work perfectly well on bald skin and will fade very quickly.
The biggest advantage of using henna for your eyebrows is that it colors not only the eyebrow hairs but also the skin underneath. The soft to dark shadow effect on the skin has the appearance of a tattoo which can last up to two weeks.
5 Reasons To Choose Brow Henna:
Someone has reasonably full eyebrows but would like them a bit more expressive. The tattoo effect on the skin creates a much fuller look.
Someone has sparse brows and wants them to be more prominent.
Henna can be used to fill in bald spots in the eyebrows.
It's the perfect treatment for women who are not very good with makeup and want eyebrows for more than a few days. For example, a city trip or a vacation.
Eyebrow henna lasts longer than regular dye.
-
Eyebrow henna colors the hair for about 6 weeks, and the print on the skin remains visible for 10-14 days. How long the henna is visible on the skin depends on various factors and varies per skin type and lifestyle.
More frequent washing or scrubbing will cause the color to fade more rapidly. Oily skin also accelerates this process. Less wetting and cleaning the eyebrows will help them last longer.
Please follow our aftercare instructions for best results!

In a few cases it's better to choose for another dye formula or not to tint at all.
Eyebrow henna is not recommended in the following circumstances:
Very blonde eyebrows or very pale skin
Very little to no eyebrow hair
Under the age of sixteen
Naturally very oily skin (they will fade quicker)
During pregnancy and/or breastfeeding
Naturally have very dark/coarse and full eyebrows
An allergy to - or a sensitive reaction to - eyebrow dye.
Summer holiday. Direct sunlight on the eyebrows is not recommended for the first 24-48 hours after treatment. And as long as the henna is on the skin direct and intense sunlight should be avoided to prevent allergic reactions unless high factor protection is used.
-
Things to avoid prior to your henna brow appointment:
Self-tanner on your face (this could turn the Henna green or orange!)
Avoid the use of Retin-A or AHA and brow serum around the brow area 72 hours prior
Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of water in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.
-
Longevity varies based on skin and care.
Avoid direct sun exposure on the area for 24 hours
Keep the eyebrows dry for at least 24 hours; if showering, keep your head dry.
If possible, avoid high intensity workout or a visit to the sauna for at least 24 hours. Sweat can also have an effect.
Avoid using oil-based makeup remover or harsh cleansers. As long as the color is on the skin, use as few cleansing products as possible on the eyebrows.
Do not rub or wash the tinted area for 1 week to help stain last longer.
In intense sunlight, apply high factor protection to the eyebrows while the color remains. Not only will this make the color last longer but it will also reduce the risk of allergic reactions.
Always allow at least 5 weeks between treatments in order to avoid potential development of an allergy.
